PC

The polycarbonate material of Dynex is a material to provide high impact strength and dimensional stability. This has excellent machinability to be suitable as a mock-up material, and has excellent electrical properties to be widely used as insulators.

Use	Insulator, Mock-up material
Major property	- High impact strength - High creep-proofing - Dimensional stability
Note	The PC of Dynex has a limited use for non-optical purpose.

CAST NYLON

The cast nylon is a material produced through the polymerization molding of caprolactam of liquid state, whose localization was succeeded in by the engineers of Dynex in 1985 for the first time in Korea, and introduced into the domestic markets. This is a high-class material with excellent machinability that is ideally harmonized with high hardness, wear resistance, fatigue resistance and excellent mechanical properties.

Use	Various bearings, car wheels, gears, sheaves, sprockets, wear plates
Major property	- Excellent physical properties and machinability - Product groups of various dimensions - Various application examples
Caution	The cast nylon is a material with high moisture absorption rate, whose dimension change of 2% is anticipated in a high-humidity environment, so take care.

POM-C

The POM-C is a semi-crystal co-polymer material with outstanding machinability and dimensional stability as well as high mechanical strength. Especially, this has an almost zero moisture absorption rate to provide more excellent mechanical property and dimensional stability than nylon in a high-humidity and flooded environment. In addition, this is a material with resistance to solvents and chemicals of various kinds.

Use	치Precision component requiring dimensional stability(gear, guide roller, bearing, bushing, etc.)
Major property	- Excellent mechanical property - Low moisture absorption rate - Dimensional stability - High chemical resistance
Note	Dynex is developing and supplying a group of POM products specialized to various properties.

HPDE

The polyethylene product of Dynex is used in various industrial fields due to its outstanding properties and machinability. Especially, this meets the food stability regulations of FDA to be harmless to human and suitable for food contacts. Dynex is producing a group of HDPE products of wide-range dimensions that can cope with any specifications required by consumers.

Use	Storage tank, food contact component, guide roller, conveyor screw, etc.

HDPE plate material for neutron shielding	Dynex is producing and supplying high-density polyethylene products that are effective for neutron shielding. The hydrogen element integrated at a high density in the product attenuates effectively the speed of neutrons discharged during nuclear fission to shield the leakage of the radioactivity. This provides an outstanding performance for neutron shielding in nuclear power generation facilities and medical equipment.

PP

Polypropylene is a universal resin used in various industrial fields due to its low price and wide application examples. This has higher hardness and more excellent chemical resistance than polyethylene to be suitable for components of chemical and plating equipment. Dynex is producing a group of PP products of wide-range dimensions to cope with any specifications required by consumers.

ABS

ABS of Dynex is a mock-up material to provide ideal properties. The cutting-edge heat treatment method of Dynex completely removes internal stresses to maximize machinability and dimensional stability. Dynex is producing a group of ABS products of various specifications to cope with any specifications required by consumers.

PET

The polyethylene terephthalate material is one of the engineering plastics used most widely along with POM-C and nylon. This is suitable for precision mechanical components due to its outstanding mechanical properties. In addition, this has a feature of high tensile and mechanical strength, high hardness and excellent dimensional stability. PET is mainly used for the parts requiring wear resistance such as wear pads, bearings and bushings, wheel rollers, etc. due to its low friction coefficient, and is also suitable for the components of food machinery due to its low absorption rate.

Use	Various kinds of gears, guide rollers, bearings and food processing components

PEEK

PEEK is a cutting-edge industrial material proud of the best performance among the existing engineering plastics in heat resistance, chemical resistance, wear resistance and mechanical machinability due to its continuous use temperature reaching 250℃. It has been dependent on imports so far, but since introduced into the domestic markets because the engineers of Dynex succeeded in localization of it for the first time in 2007, it is being used in various industrial fields.

Use	Semiconductor, LCD manufacturing equipment component, precision machining equipment component, food industry equipment component, chemical plant component, welder component, metal surface processing equipment component, insulation material, etc.
Major property	- Noncombustible - High thermal and chemical resistance - High wear resistance - High mechanical strength - Excellent machinability
Caution	Its property can largely change around 150°C of glass transition temperature.

PEI

PEI is a material produced through the extrusion molding of ULTEM resin of SABIC. This is a product with high mechanical strength and excellent thermal resistance and noncombustibility due to its high continuous use temperature of 170℃. This is suitable for the use requiring high mechanical strength and hardness at a rapidly-rising temperature environment.

Use	Part exposed to microwaves, electric insulation component, glass manufacturing equipment component, steam washing equipment component, insulation sleeve
Major property	- Noncombustibility - High mechanical strength - Outstanding thermal and chemical resistance
Note	1. This has weak wear resistance and creep resistance due to its property of noncrystal resin. 2. The notch part is weak, so secure R at the corner.

ANTI STATIC

Static electricity is generated by frictions or contacts between objects with different potential energy. This generated static electricity severely hinders the use of various electric and electronic equipment. Especially, the equipment malfunctioning, defect ratio increase and yield decrease due to discharge of static electricity in the ultra-precision cutting-edge industry such as semiconductors and LCD/TFT are important problems in quality control and productivity.

Use	Component and equipment of semiconductors, LCD equipment and precision electronic devices to be protected from static electricity
